Unseen power

This is Forss wind farm, on the very tip of the north coast, just outside Thurso. As well as the turbine you can just see the dome of the nuclear reactor at Dounreay at the bottom of the picture. I thought it a nice juxtaposition with the clean, green, wind farm.

As I was wandering around the wind farm, I suddenly found myself on the edge of a 150 foot sheer drop straight into the sea below. To be suddenly confronted by your own mortality like that (just one more step...) is a very sobering thought. I backed off quite quickly.
