Boat By Day

I've been back from Thailand for over a week now, but I had a bit of a disaster involving my laptop's hard drive while I was away, meaning that I had to take it into the Apple store when I got back. Fortunately everything was under warranty and they replaced it free of charge, and I'm pleased to say that Time Machine worked its magic perfectly, meaning I lost very little data. Luckily I'd only wiped one of the memory cards from the camera so I didn't even lose that many photos from the holiday - sadly it's all the ones from Bangkok.

Oh well - a good reason to go back! :-)

  • That boat looks like it's churned some water in its day. Beautiful, expansive beach. Sorry to hear about your HDD...I had some issues with that recently but didn't lose a whole lot of data, either. Still nerve wracking experience.

  • Hi Tom,

This picture is nice but I would have loved it, if you took it through and HDR-converting. The sky and the boat could really be turned into a masterpiece!
